Jacob started off from a solid aerobic foundation from playing club level tennis, able to run 20:30 off the bat. With a structured training program from HIIT n’ Run which saw his weekly mileage grow from 30km to 60km weeks, with a healthy dose of tempo running, he was able to cut down to 17:40 5k by the end of the year.

Success Story- Lucas
Lucas started with HIIT n RUN as a brand-new runner. With no prior training, he wasn’t sure how to approach building fitness or train for a race. Before starting with HIIT n Run, Lucas competed in his first 10km at the Bridge 2 Brisbane finishing in 1 hour and 3 minutes. He knew he had more to give and wanted guidance on how to improve.
Working closely with our coaches, Lucas developed and learned the important of an aerobic base and a structured approach to training. With a new confidence, Lucas returned to the 10km and shaved over 13 minutes from his previous time, finishing in 50 minutes.
